    Quick Facts

    Where am I from?

I've always lived in Southern California. I was born and raised in Rancho Cucamonga, but moved down to Orange County for school. I now live in Yorba Linda, and commute the wonderful 91 freeway because I love Valley so much :)

Where did I go to school?

I got my BS & MS in Biology at Chapman University, earned my single-subject credential at CSUF, and I am almost done with my Masters in Education at WGU.

    What do I teach?

    The best subject: Science!

I've always taught Biology but I am loving teaching Anatomy & Physio now too!

HOWEVER. What I really teach is critical thinking and collaboration. Knowing things is great, but knowing how to think is everything.

What else am I involved in?

You'll find me supporting all of my students (past and present) at their sports/clubs/performances, and involved in many on-campus committees (I'm looking forward to seeing what to be involved in this year!)

I also absolutely love my academy cohort and value the importance of an SLC!

What are my interests outside of school?

My 3 kiddos are my life. They're very involved in sports and love to be outside, so we keep busy all of the time. If we're not at baseball or gymnastics, we are usually swimming, at an amusement park, or at the beach. I also love watching sports (Go Pack Go!), listening to Country music, and anything related to Christmas!
