What do I teach?
Algebra I
In Algebra I, students will learn the basics of functions and algebraic rules. They will investigate the connections between forms of a function, including graphs, equations, stories and tables.
Algebra II Honor
In Algebra II, the course builds on the concepts learned in Algebra I. The course typically covers topics such as quadratic equations, functions and their graphs, systems of equations and inequalities, polynomials and factoring, and advanced topics such as logarithms and exponential functions, and sequences and series. The course may also include problem-solving and application-based projects to help students apply the concepts they learn to real-world situations. The main objective of this course is to develop students' understanding and skills in algebraic concepts and problem-solving, preparing them for further study in mathematics and science fields.
