    Where am I from?

    I was born in Garden Grove, CA and grew up in El Toro, CA (currently Lake Forest).

    What do I teach?

    AP English Language

    This AP English Language and Composition course is carefully designed to enable students to read complex texts with understanding and to write prose of sufficient richness to communicate effectively with mature readers.  Since this course is designed to be a college-level course, the intellectual challenges and workload will be consistent with a typical first year English Literature/Humanities course.

    AP English Literature 

    This AP English Literature and Composition course is carefully designed to provide students with both the opportunity to carefully and critically analyze imaginative literature as well as to learn the fundamentals of beginning-level college writing.  Since this course is designed to be a college-level course, the intellectual challenges and workload will be consistent with a typical first year English Literature/Humanities course.

    What else am I involved in?

    I have proudly served as the English Department Chair for 11 years now.  In addition, I am the Girls Volleyball Coach on campus. 

    What are my interests outside of school?

     I live in Beaumont with my wife Rachel and our children Sawyer and Samantha.  My firstborn, Christopher, is a senior at Cal State San Marcos.  We are active in our Christian faith, serve our children in numerous ways, and love traveling, camping, andboing in nature.
