The 2020-2021 school years marks Mr.Tenchka’s 28^th year in teaching.  He began at Fairmont Prepatory Academy in Anaheim where he taught Physical Education and Health.  He has also taught at Frisbee Middle School in Rialto along with several schools in the SAUSD.  The schools Mr. Tenchka has taught at are Willard Intermediate, Mendez Fundamental, Santa Ana High School, Lathrop Intermediate and Santiago.

Mr. Tenchka has also coached various sports at both the intermediate school level and the high school level. Primarily, he has coached high school boys basketball.  Last season marked his 40^th year coaching high school basketball.

Mr. Tenchka is married to his wife for 28 years.  He has two kids and two dogs
