LEADERSHIP (for 6th, 7th and 8th graders; must apply)

The purpose of Mendez Leadership is to serve the school and community, working as a team to foster the growth and development of the leaders of tomorrow. Students will have opportunities to work independently and collaboratively on school projects such as student recognition, dances, and fundraisers; and on community projects such as park clean-ups and food drives.   Honest relationships and dialogue, integrity, risk-taking, dedication, and student initiative are the core values of the class. There is an interview process for this class.
