Are you looking for something engaging for your child to be involved in? Why not have them join our after-school sports program? During the entire year, students can sign up for a sport they like, and play with their friends. Each sports season lasts six weeks and, the best part, it's free for Mendez students. 

We do ask all participants to maintain a 2.0 GPA. We also expect students to uphold the three R's: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready. Each sport will have two coaches, so that students are supervised at all times. Practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 2:35-5:00 (*Coaches subject to change practice times and schedules). Teams will have 3-4 scrimmages against other intermediate schools in SAUSD with a final tournament at the end of the six weeks. Online Registration is required before your child can play any spots.
