SCHOOLWIDE DISCIPLINE PLAN
In order to provide the best possible learning environment for our students, we are continuing our school-wide
discipline plan. The purpose of this plan is:
- to assist students in developing responsible behavior
- to assure a learning environment in which students can learn and teachers can teach
- to insure the physical and psychological well-being of all students
Our discipline plan consists of standards of behavior and negative consequences for unacceptable behavior. Standards are established for each classroom, the school buildings and surrounding area, and for the playground. Consequences established by the classroom teacher, both positive and negative, are applied to all school standards by each teacher and supported by the school administrators. The key to the success of our discipline plan is consistency in the support and in the application of the plan by all who are involved with it. Our actions at school are most effective when they are supported by you, the parents. Your cooperation and consistent support will assure the achievement of the best possible learning environment for all of our students.
