• PARENT AGREEMENT
     

    AS A PARENT OF A FUNDAMENTAL SCHOOL PUPIL IN THE SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, I WILL:

     

    1.  Provide positive support to the goals, philosophy, and program of the Fundamental School Programs. 
     
    2.  Assist my child in achieving the required academic standards necessary for promotion.
     
    3.  Participate in conferences with school personnel as requested and support mutually agreed-upon decisions.
     
    4.  Know and enforce the school's Homework Policy and provide conditions at home conducive to study.
     
    5.  Be responsible with my child for reading the school's Code of Student Conduct and abiding by all school policies and procedures concerning academics and behavior.
     
    6.  Know and enforce the Fundamental School's Dress Code.
     

    7.  Be responsible for my child's regular attendance, including arrival on time before school, and their prompt       pick- up after school.

     

    I understand that the Fundamental School provides an alternative program of my choice, that no transportation is provided, and that no bilingual program is offered.  I further understand that a bilingual program is available at my neighborhood school, but I elect for my child to attend the Fundamental School for all English instruction.

     

    I UNDERSTAND THAT FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE GROUNDS FOR TRANSFER FROM THE FUNDAMENTAL SCHOOL AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
