    Sugar and IceThis is a very good book.  The main characters are Clair, Natalie and the coach.  Claire has a passion for skating on the ice.  One day the coach saw Claire on the ice and told her she had an opportunity to skate at Lake Placid for free.  When Claire goes to the lake, she starts to realize who her true enemy is.

    The Talent Show from the Black Lagoon  I loved this book so much that I want to read it again and again.  If I had this book on my bookshelf, I would read it for my reading log.  It was very funny, happy and great.  The main character is Nate.  He tries to find his talent and then he found out that his talent is playing the piano.  You have to read it to find out what happens with his talent.

    Captain Underpants” You should read this book because it’s really funny and there’s a lot of action!!  There are these things called “Flip-O-Ramas.” That’s how the action and laughs meet.  Captain Underpants is really bizarre!!  I think you will love it too.

    A Child Called It This is a story about a boy who was abused by his own mother.  He was not given food and he nearly died.  His mom drinks heavily.  Dave Pelzer is that boy.  It is good and has lots of details.  It is for older kids.  It is one of the best books I have ever read.

     “The Puppy Place” The Puppy Place books are very good.  They talk about how they care about dogs and how you can take care of them yourself.  If you read the “Puppy Place” books you will see how Charles and Lizzie go find abandoned dogs that are all alone.  Charles and Lizzie will help the dogs find a loving home where they would be happy,

    The Invention of Hugo Cabret” In the story Hugo’s family has died, but Hugo has a automaton that he thinks has a message from his father, but he doesn’t have the key.  He notices that a girl named Isabel has the key and so their adventure begins along with Grandpa John a famous movie make and magician.  I recommend this book for readers to learn the true wonders of the world.  I also recommend this book to the kids that like artists, movies and even mystery.

    “Violet Raines Almost Got Struck by Lightning” Violet Raines isn’t scared of much.  She’s lived in the sleepy Florida town of Mitchell Hammock all her life and things are just the way she likes them.  But Violet’s world changes in a flash when Melissa arrives from a big city.  All of a sudden, Violet is supposed to want to wear makeup and talk to boys?  It will take the help of Violet’s friends and her mom.  Find out more when you read.  I love this book!!
