          cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. 
     
    2.2 Products of culture: Students demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the products and perspectives of the
          cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
     
    3.1 Making Connections: Students reinforce and further their knowledge of their disciplines through Spanish.
     
    3.2 Acquiring Information: Students acquire information and recognize the distinctive viewpoints that are available only through
          the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures.
     
    4.1 Language Comparison: Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of language through comparison of Spanish and their
          native language.
     
    4.2 Cultural Comparison: Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of culture through comparisons of Spanish-speaking
          cultures and their own.
     
    5.1 School and Community: Students use Spanish both within and beyond school setting.
     
    5.2: Lifelong Learning: Students show evidence of becoming lifelong learners by using Spanish for personal enjoyment
           and enrichment.
