Dr. Emil Ahangarzadeh


    Dr. Emil AhangarzadehDr. Emil Ahangarzadeh has served for 14 years as an education administrator in various capacities and six years as a classroom teacher (English, Social Studies, ELD/ESL, Journalism).  His expertise and specializations include organizational effectiveness, technology integration/planning/management, cybersecurity education, English learner and compensatory education, administrative leadership, 21st Century skill development as well as professional development facilitation.

    Dr. Ahangarzadeh oversees the following at Villa FIS:

    He served for two years at the Santa Ana Unified School District office as a manager in the Technology Innovation Services Department.  Prior to that, Dr. Ahangarzadeh worked as a director in the Integrated Technology Services Division of the San Diego County Office of Education, Program Manager of English Learner Services Department for Fresno County Office of Education, and curriculum developer at the University of California, San Diego.  He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Redlands teaching courses to pre-service teachers on topics such as education policy/history/philosophy, content-area literacy, and language development for English learners.

    He received a doctoral degree from the University of Phoenix in the area of education leadership.  He also received a master degree from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Televsion.  Dr. Ahangarzadeh completed his graduate studies in teaching at the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and his undergraduate studies at California State University, Los Angeles (Cal State LA).
