Mrs. Sandra Corr

Sandra Corr obtained a B.S. in English from the University of Michigan and started out in her career as a teacher at the age of thirty-six after having worked as a professional actor in Los Angeles for a number of years and then behind the scenes as a story editor at HBO.
 
Mrs. Corr began teaching in L.A. in 1996 and started at Saddleback High School in 1999 as an English teacher. Corr is especially proud of having taken a course of study at UC Berkeley in order to have been involved in the Puente Program for several years.
 
In 2010, Mrs. Corr reinvented herself as a P.E. and dance teacher at Saddleback High School by receiving a supplementary credential in P.E. and by transferring her dance background (from having trained as an actor) to teach dance and dance production.  Mrs. Corr was also the Dance Director and Dance Team Adviser until 2018.  
 
In addition, in pursuit of academic excellence and professional growth, Sandra Corr obtained her Master's Degree in Education from Concordia University in Equity, Ethics and Justice and was trained to teach IB Dance.
 
In 2018 -2019, Mrs. Corr returned to the English Department, teaching four sections of English 9. She also taught the second year of IB Dance to the first cohort of International Baccalaureate students at Saddleback High School. 
 
 
In 2019, Corr returned to the P.E. department and now teaches all levels of physical education.
