COVID Testing and Consent

This is Trucker Clark, principal at César E. Chávez High School.  Our school will soon begin weekly COVID-19 testing for all students and staff. 

This testing will be mandatory for every student attending our school in person, unless the student has an approved medical waiver. 

Please know that the cheek swab test is the primary testing method. This test offers minimal discomfort and just takes a few seconds.

In order to have your child participate in testing, a parent or guardian must complete a consent form. 

A link to this form was recently sent through ParentSquare. Copies of the consent form are also available in the school’s main office. 

We ask that the form is completed and returned by Friday, September 17. If you have additional questions, please contact the office at 714-430-5700.
