What is PSAT 8/9?
The PSAT 8/9, or Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, acts as a baseline for college readiness. This test is designated for students in 8th and 9th grade, while PSAT 10 is for sophomores in high school.
Students who take PSAT 8/9 can use their results to secure scholarships for college and to prepare for the SAT, which is commonly required for college admissions applications. PSAT 8/9 test scores are not used for college admissions.
What Can Students Expect?
The PSAT 8/9 test is made up of 3 different parts: reading, writing & language, and math. See the links below to find practice tests and sample questions.
PSAT 8/9 Prep
