Our mission in our department is: Using metacognition and close reading strategies, students will increase engagement and understanding while working collaboratively.

This year we have been focusing on a universal close reading strategy. To view the close reading guide our department is using, please CLICK HERE! All students have been exposed to this process, but this handout will guide them through the process independently if they have forgotten the steps.
