Mr. Michael Abeyta

Hello Astro Family!

It is a pleasure to serve you as the new assistant principal at Carr Intermediate School.

Prior to this role, I was a Spanish teacher at Tahquitz High School in the Hemet Unified School District, and served in a variety of additional capacities including Seal of Multiliteracy Site Lead, English Learner Site Lead, and Boys JV Soccer Head Coach.

I look forward to supporting all of our students and staff, and providing another perspective to the amazing work that we do at Carr. 

I am a SoCal native, having grown up in nearby Diamond Bar and graduating from Mt. San Antonio College (Walnut,CA), California State University, Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) and National University (La Jolla, CA). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, metal detecting, playing disc golf, and watching/playing sports.
