    WELCOME back to school fourth graders!  I am glad you are here reading this and hope you are looking forward to starting 4th grade as much as I am at being your teacher!  I know some of you may be a little nervous about a new year and a new class, and some of you may even be starting a whole new school.  We all get butterflies on the first day of school and often don't get much sleep the night before the first day.  But don't worry, this will be a fantastic year and by the end of the first day, you will wonder why you were ever nervous.  We will have a blast and you might even learn a thing or two.  
     
    Class will start Monday, August 16 and Back to School Night is Thursday, August 25 @ 6:00.  I am so excited to see a class full of smiling faces and cannot wait to meet you.  We are going to have an awesome year!

    Supplies we have in class already:

    • crayons
    • colored pencils
    • binder
    • spiral-bound notebook
    • glue stick
    • clipboard
    • scissors
    • eraser
      

    Suggested supplies only if you can but not required (most for home use):

    • pencils (sharpened)- always have 3 pencils sharpened and prepared daily
    • pencil sharpener
    • notebook paper
    • personal water bottle (please no freezing of bottles- "sweats" on desks)
    • highlighters-pink, green, orange, blue
    • dry erase marker & small eraser (new, clean short sock works great!)
    • Hand sanitizer- small bottle
    • SNACK!
