Fremont Elementary has produced many outstanding scholars over the years. Here are a few of our highlights.

Mrs. Ramirez is a supervisor at our school.  She has four children, who all attended Fremont Elementary.  The three oldest children attended and graduated from Cal State Fullerton and also are all engineers.

 Imelda Ramirez attended Fremont from 1985 – 1991.  She graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Cal State Fullerton in May of 2005.  Imelda is currently a sales engineer.

 Ruben Ramirez Jr.  attended Fremont from 1986 – 1992.  He received his degree in mechanical engineering from Cal State Fullerton and works for Boeing in Seattle, Washington.

 Oscar Ramirez attended Fremont from 1989 – 1995.  Oscar majored in civil engineering at Cal State Fullerton and is pursuing a career in architecture.

 Elizabeth attended Fremont from 1992 – 1998.  She has attended Cal State Fullerton as well as Santa Ana College.  Elizabeth currently works in Think Together at Hoover Elementary and is deciding between being a civil engineer or a teacher.

Nydia Durazo was granted a full scholarship and graduated from a college preparatory boarding school in 2003.  She then went on to go to Scripps College where she received a B.A. in English and Hispanic Studies followed by UCI where she received her M.A. in literature.  She is currently working on her PhD in literature at UCI.  Along with all of this, Nydia is also a freelance writer. 

Albert Durazo graduated from Santa Ana College with an Associate Degree in Marketing.  He is currently the Branch Manager for an Insurance Brokerage in Lake Forest.  Albert Durazo was also Fremont’s parent of the year for the 2010 – 2011 school year!

Arturo Durazo graduated with a B.A. from UC Irvine.  He is currently a doctoral student in Health Psychology at the newest University of California, UC Merced.

Moses Durazo graduated from Fremont in 1989 where he then attended Spurgeon and Santa Ana High School .  From there he attended UCSC where he completed a B.A. in Humanities and a Holistic Health Practitioner certification program.  Moses then trained as a Medical Biomagnetic Practitioner at the College for Medical Biomagnetic Research, a branch of the Unversidad Autonoma de Chapingo, in Mexico City.  Today he is practicing privately in Orange County.
