This is my 12th year as a teacher at McFadden after beginning my career at Century High School.  I am a product of Santa Ana Unified, graduating from Century in 1996 and attending San Diego State.  After stints in the private sector, I returned to school to achieve a long-term goal of becoming a teacher.  I am credentialed to teach Earth/Physical Science, Biology, and Social Studies.  I am a coach for football, baseball, and other teams and am an active member of the McFadden community.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of this year's students and parents and sharing my love of and belief in the learning process and helping my students to achieve the goals that they strive to reach for this year and beyond.

 

I currently reside in Irvine with my wife, who is also a teacher in SAUSD, and our three children.  When I am not teaching I can usually be found driving them to practice or to school events.  I am an avid reader and a firm believer in the concept of being a life-long learner and seek to improve my knowledge of many subjects.  I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family.
