As a proud product of the Santa Ana Unified School District, it is both a privilege and a calling to serve the community that helped shape who I am. After graduating from SAUSD schools and before becoming an educator, I had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that taught me the value of discipline, perseverance, and service to others—values I bring into my role each day.

I began my higher education journey at Santa Ana College, where I found mentors who inspired me to pursue a career in education. I later earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Southern California and my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Pepperdine University.

I’ve worked in SAUSD for the past 25 years and have proudly served the greater Santa Ana community for over 30 years. This year marks my 16th year at McFadden and my 11th year as principal. I believe deeply in the power of education to transform lives, and at McFadden Institute of Technology, our mission to create a Future-Ready school rooted in equity, innovation, and student voice is what drives me every day.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, playing golf, and giving back to the community through service and mentorship.
