Welcome to my website! My name is Carlos Macias and I am looking forward to being your 8th grade social studies teacher at Romero-Cruz Academy. I enjoy working here for many reasons, the most important one being that I was born and raised in Santa Ana and feel a connection with my students. I graduated from Valley High school and went to Santa Ana College where I majored in History. From Santa Ana College, I transferred to California State University, Fullerton. While at Fullerton, I earned my Bachelor's degree of Arts in History and a Single Subject teaching credential in Social Science. In addition, I went back to school and completed a Masters program in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Irvine. I am married to my best friend and we enjoy spending time with our baby boys Cruz and Nicolas, our dogs Laddie and Beau and traveling, hiking, camping and spending time with family and friends.
