I have been teaching elementary school since 2002. I earned my undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona and completed my teaching credential and master’s degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I am currently the literacy coach at Esqueda, working to enhance literacy across the school. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, and reading. I also take pride in being a parent to three college-aged children.
