Summer Message to the Kennedy CommunityDear Kennedy Families,
As we step into summer, I want to wish all of our students and families a relaxing and joyful break! While the school year has come to a close, there are a few important updates to share regarding summer programs and office hours.
Kennedy Office Summer Hours:
- The school office will be open from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM throughout the summer.
- The office will be closed from June 16 through July 4 and will reopen on Monday, July 7.
Summer Programs:
- Our Extended School Year (ESY) program will run from June 3 through June 30.
- Our Expanded Learning Summer School program will run from June 3 through July 18.
- There will be no school on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth for both programs.
- The Expanded Learning program will also be closed on July 3 and 4 in observance of Independence Day.
Looking Ahead:
- The first day of the 2025–2026 school year will be Monday, August 11, 2025.

Estimadas Familias de Kennedy:Con la llegada del verano, les deseo a todos nuestros estudiantes y familias unas felices vacaciones. Si bien el año escolar ha llegado a su fin, les comparto algunas novedades importantes sobre los programas de verano y el horario de atención.Horario de Verano de la Oficina de Kennedy:La oficina escolar estará abierta de 7:30 a. m. a 3:30 p. m. durante todo el verano.La oficina permanecerá cerrada del 16 de junio al 4 de julio y volverá a abrir el lunes 7 de julio.Programas de Verano:Nuestro programa de Año Escolar Extendido (ESY) se desarrollará del 3 al 30 de junio.Nuestro programa de Escuela de Verano de Aprendizaje Extendido se desarrollará del 3 al 18 de julio.No habrá clases el 19 de junio en conmemoración del Juneteenth para ambos programas.El programa de Aprendizaje Extendido también estará cerrado los días 3 y 4 de julio en conmemoración del Día de la Independencia. Mirando hacia el futuro:El primer día del año escolar 2025-2026 será el lunes 11 de agosto de 2025.Gracias por su continuo apoyo.
