    My name is Mrs. Morten and I am a second grade teacher at Monte Vista. I am so proud to be a member of the SAUSD community. It is has been a pleasure working with staff and administration members, and families who are so committed to meeting our students needs.  I have very high expectations for my students this school year and I believe each and every student will learn and grow. Most importantly, I want my students to leave second grade with the skills, responsibility, and confidence to take on all their future challenges. Students will learn to take pride in their work and accomplishments while successfully collaborating with peers. They will also become responsible, confident, and independent.  I love teaching, and I am so excited  to share this very rewarding learning process with you all.  If you ever have any questions.
