Centennial Farms

Centennial Farm is located in Costa Mesa at the OC fair grouds. During the off season, the farm is open to the puclic with no admission fees. They milk their dairy cows at 9:30 and 2:00 everyday. The farm has other livestock such as pigs, sheep, and chickens. They also have a vegetaable garden.

We are going to be learning about trains in December. This is a great place to go to see real trains.

Pacific Marine Mammal Center (Laguna Canyon)

If you are interested in learning about seals, sea lions, and elephant seals you will love this place! The Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC) rescues marine mammals that are malnurshed or in need health support. They are also interested in educating the public about marine mammals and ocean conservation.

Ocean Institute at Dana Point

We will be learning about ocean life in the spring. This place has great exploration activities and you can visit the tide pools.

This place has a huge farmers' market on Sundays. It also has hands-on gardening workshops and activities for children.
