Parking & Pick-up/Drop-off Instructions | Instrucciones para recoger y dejar a los estudiantes

    As you may be aware, Franklin's parking availability is very limited.  We do have guest parking located at Lathrop Intermediate School, which is on the corner of Broadway St. and McFadden Ave.  Parking is available in front of the school ONLY from 8:30am to 12:00pm and After 3:00pm (as it is also our drop-off and pick-up area).  Therefore, we encourage all guest to utilize the parking area at Lathrop Intermediate.

    For drop-off and pick-up, please use the lane in front of the school on Cubbon St., which is specifically designated for that purpose. There is no parking in front of the school during drop-off/pick-up times (you run the risk of being ticketed). If you need to come to the office, please use other street parking or use the parking lot at Lathrop Intermediate School. 

    When dropping off or picking up your student, please follow some of our guidelines to help with traffic flow:

    • stay in your vehicle and do not remain parked in the drop-off/pick-up area (this will help move the line faster and prevent congestion)
    • Do not block ongoing traffic on Cubbon St. (use the designated lane in front of school for drop off/pick up)
    • When picking up your student, do not park in the drop-off/pick-up lane until about 5 minutes before your student's dismissal time. *This is to prevent congestion and make sure we do not disturb ongoing traffic*

    Como sabrá, la disponibilidad de estacionamiento de Franklin es muy limitada. Tenemos estacionamiento para invitados ubicado en Lathrop Intermediate School, que está en la esquina de Broadway St. y McFadden Ave. El estacionamiento frente a la escuela SOLAMENTE está disponible de 8:30a.m. a 12:00p.m. y después de las 3:00p.m. (ya que también es nuestra área para dejar y recoger). Por lo tanto, alentamos a todos los invitados a utilizar el área de estacionamiento en Lathrop Intermediate.

    Para dejar y recoger a los niños, use el carril frente a la escuela en Cubbon St., que está específicamente designado para ese propósito. No hay estacionamiento frente a la escuela durante los horarios de llegada y salida (corre el riesgo de recibir una multa). Si necesita venir a la oficina, use otro estacionamiento en la calle o use el estacionamiento en la Escuela Intermedia Lathrop.

    Cuando deje o recoja a su estudiante, siga algunas de nuestras pautas para ayudar con el flujo de tráfico:

    - Quédese en su vehículo y no permanezca estacionado en el área para dejar/recoger (esto ayudará a que la línea avance más rápido y evitará la congestión)
    - No bloquee el tráfico continuo en Cubbon St. (utilice el carril designado frente a la escuela para dejar/recoger)
    - Cuando recoja a su estudiante, no se estacione en el carril para dejar/recoger hasta aproximadamente 5 minutos antes de la hora de salida de su estudiante. *Esto es para evitar la congestión y asegurarnos de no perturbar el tráfico en curso*
