     Second grade is a fun year where we focus on standards and skills as well as becoming a more independent and mature student.  I believe students can grow to be much more self-sufficient this year.

     
    In the beginning, we walk through activities together. As the year goes on, we slowly complete activities on our own successfully.  Our goal is to be prepared for the big jump in independence when we move on to third grade.
     
    Second grade is a year of fluency, addition and subtraction, and solving problems on our own. 
     
    Please come ready to learn at 8:00 sharp everyday!  Make sure you have eaten breakfast and wear your school uniform.
