I am so excited to be teaching at Thorpe! I have lots of experience teaching in Santa Ana USD including teaching at Pio Pico, Muir, and Carl Harvey. I've also taught special education. I am fortunate to have so may experiences to bring into the classroom. I come from the philosphy of "It takes a village to raise a child." so if we are all working together (parents and teachers) students will be more successful. As a parent I am always reading with my children and finding learning experiences for them. It is also important the whole child is developed, which includes not just learning but social emotional and that all children get enough exercise. I look forward to working with parents so all students can be successful.
