Policies, Behavior, and Rules
Parents and students sign agreements to behave respectfully, responsibly, honorably, and safe. Through a collaborative process, a clear set of positive behavioral expectations are defined and understood.
At Thorpe Fundamental we have implemented a school-wide POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONS AND SUPPORT (PBIS) framework comprised of intervention practices and organizational systems for social behavioral instruction in a coordinated consistent manner. The goal is to achieve effective school-wide behavioral support for all members of our school community.
My classroom rules are the following:
- Keep your hand and feet to yourself.
- Raise your hand to talk or leave your seat.
- Stay on task and avoid multi-tasking.
- Be efficient (being efficient means being in work mode at all times).
