Dear Parents:

     In order for your child to learn the most possible this year, it is necessary that there be order in the classroom. Due to this, we have made the class rules together. I want to ask you to help me with this by reminding your child how to behave in the classroom daily.

The rules are:

1.     Be nice

2.     Be responsible

3.      Be safe

4.     Listen attentively to the person talking

5.      Take care of the classroom and the school

The students will have clips in the classroom. Everyone starts on green, but if your child behaves better, their clip will go up to blue, purple or pink. If they are having trouble, we will give the at least one oral warning. However, if we have to talk to them too many times or if they do something serious (like hurt someone or use bad language) they will move their clip down to yellow, orange or red.

      Green= good behavior                                           Blue= Excellent           

      Yellow= try harder                                           Purple= Awesome

      Orange= last chance/lose recess

           or stay 10 min. after school                   Pink=Tremendous/get 1 Walker $

       Red= bad behavior/note home/                               In the clouds=perfect/get 2 Walker $

                  reflection room 1+ days

If we have to change their card to red, we will send a note with the reason or call home. Please sign the note and return it the next day. If the students do not bring the note the next day, they will be sent to the reflection room during recess. $5 Walker money= a trip to the prize box!

Please keep the top part of this note and return only the bottom portion tomorrow.

 Estimados padres:

      Con el fin de que su hijo aprenda lo más posible este año, es necesario que haya orden en la clase. Debido a esto, los estudiantes y yo hemos hecho las reglas de clase juntos. Quiero pedirle que me ayude con esto al recordar a su hijo/a cómo debe comportarse en la clase todos los días.

Las reglas son:

1. ser amable

2. ser responsable

3. estar a salvo

4. Escuche atentamente a la persona que habla

5. Cuida la clase y la escuela

Los alumnos dispondrán de los clips en la clase.  Todo el mundo comienza en verde, pero si su hijo/a se comporta mejor, su clip va a subir al azul, morado o rosa o a los nubes. Si tiene problemas, vamos a dar un aviso oral por lo menos. Sin embargo, si tenemos que hablar con ellos muchas veces y si hacen algo serio (como si alguien herido o mal uso de la lengua) tendrán bajar su clip a amarillo, naranja o rojo.

verde = buen comportamiento                                            azul = excelente

amarillo = esforzarse más                                                           morado = awesome

anaranjado = la última oportunidad/pierde recreo

             o quedar 10 min. despues de escuela     rosa = tremendo/gane $1 de Walker

rojo = mal comportamiento/ nota a casa/                               las nubes= perfecto/gane $2

           reflexión habitación 1+ días

Si tenemos que cambiar su clip de color rojo, vamos a enviar una nota indicando la razón o llamar a casa. Por favor, firme la nota y regresar al día siguiente. Si los estudiantes no traigan la nota al día siguiente, será enviado al reflexión habitación durante el recreo.  $5 en dinero de Walker= un premio de la caja!
