•        Here is some information about me!I was born in Whittier,Ca. I grew up in Orange, Ca, and attended El Modena High School. I am married to Denise (41 years!). My wife works as a marriage therapist. I have two daughters; Lauren, age 31, who is married to Ted and works as a professor of nursing at University of San Francisco. They have one daughter. My youngest daughter, Courtney, is a nurse at Saint Joseph Hospital. She is 30 and lives in Huntington Beach with her husband, Tyler and their two children.. I have a dog named Lucie (Doberman/ Pitbull mix) . I live in Newport Beach. In my spare time I enjoy reading, music, and surfing.

           I have a teaching credential from California State University Long Beach and a master's degree in educational administration from National University. I have been teaching for 23 years.     Fun Fact: My family lived in Santa Ana in the 1800'S. Mr Great Grandfather , Horace McPhee,was the owner of The Santa Ana Blade newspaper,which later became the Orange County Register. He was against Prohibition too. (From the book "Turn the Rascals Out" by Jim Sleeper,an Orange County historian.
