Dear Carver Families and Community,

 

As the school year has now come to a close, we extend our warmest wishes for a relaxing and enjoyable summer break! We hope this time provides you with opportunities for rest, rejuvenation, and make wonderful memories with loved ones.

 

This past year has been filled with incredible achievements, particularly through our community school initiatives. We made significant strides to identify our three key priorities moving forward which are strengthening students in the areas of 1. English Language Arts 2. Mathematics and 3. Individual and Collective Social Emotional Wellness. 

 

We were also thrilled to announce exciting new partnerships that further enriched the learning experiences for our students this past year! We worked alongside the Nicholas Academic Centers to provide invaluable academic mentoring and guidance to our 5th grade students and parents. Additionally, we partnered with OC Parks, Santa Ana Zoo, and OCDE Inside the Outdoors to offer unique and engaging opportunities for exploration and learning beyond the classroom. We are incredibly thankful for these collaborations and look forward to continuing to work alongside them next year!

 

Furthermore, we have augmented our learning gardens, providing hands-on experiences in science and sustainability, and significantly enhanced our STEAM Lab, empowering students with cutting-edge technology and fostering innovation.

 

None of this amazing work would have been possible without your incredible support and dedication. Thank you to our students, families, staff, and community partners for making G.W. Carver Community School such an exceptional place to learn and grow.
