    Mission Statement

    The mission of John Adams is to provide students with the social, emotional, and academic skills to be strong, empowered individuals through high-quality education through our community partners, common core, and standard-based curriculum. This will be accomplished through differentiated instruction, including different approaches that meet the diverse needs of individual students. Our school community commits to providing students with social-emotional learning and mental health resources through multi-tiered support systems (MTSS) such as restorative practices and positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS). We are committed to empowering our community through partner organizations, professional development for teachers and staff, and meeting with partners to set up a collaborative foundation.

    At John Adams Elementary School, our vision is to create a nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through transformative educational practices and collaborative efforts with families and the neighborhood, we aim to cultivate inclusive learning experiences that empower students to succeed in the future. As a community school, we prioritize social-emotional support, ensuring every child feels valued and equipped with the skills to contribute positively to our diverse community and beyond.
