Sharing station cart available during breakfast and lunch
  • Sharing Station

The Sharing Station concept is as straightforward as it sounds. Students are able to swap out their food or leave unwanted food and beverages in the appropriate bin on the cart. Students may also grab any item from the cart. This service is available to all students at no cost.

The Sharing Station helps reduce food waste, increases options to nutritious options, and helps foster a sense of community at Jefferson Elementary School.

  • Lunch from Home

We encourage parents to review the school menu daily. If you would like to pack a lunch for your student in lieu of school lunch, please try to avoid packing foods and drinks that are high in fat, sugar and/or salt. Never pack: cupcakes, chocolate and candy high in saturated fat and added sugar, soft drinks, package snacks high in salt, saturated fat or added sugar, avoid anything containing nuts or nut butters (if your child's classroom has a nut free policy), stay away from high-risk foods.
