Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year.

My name is Mr. Jovel and I teach all the mathematics courses at the Independent Study Program (ISP). The math courses at ISP are completed though canvas. The courses are designed for about 20 hours of study per week. Students attend a minimum of one revision session (1 hour) and one assessment session (1 hour) each week. There are six units of study, two units need to be completed each week for three weeks. This means that at ISP, students complete one class every three weeks. Each unit has a read, study, take notes, watch videos, and practice exercises. A formal test is given at the end of each unit or at the end of each week.
