I'm a dinosaur to the Muir family, as this will be 24th year teaching at this amazing school! I taught second grade for many years, and now I'm so excited to in first grade!  My favorite thing about teaching is getting students excited about learning, challenging their minds, and doing projects that make learning more meaningful for them.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, exercising, and spending time with my friends and family.  I have a 14 year old son, and a 8 year old daughter. I look forward to being your teacher and starting a new adventure with you this year!
