Mrs. Maria Sandoval
Dear Franklin Staff and Families,
It is with great enthusiasm that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal of Franklin Elementary School. I am incredibly grateful and excited to join the Franklin Family! I look forward to working in partnership with the staff to continue the work of advocating for and providing all students and families with an educational experience where values and diversity are celebrated.
I’m a proud, former SAUSD alumni, who graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelors’ Degree and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. In addition, I have a Master’s Degree in School Administration from Concordia University.
My experience in the field of education spans over 23 years, during which I was a teacher’s assistant, classroom teacher and a teacher on special assignment.
On a more personal note, my husband, José, and I enjoy spending time with our family. We love exploring hiking trails and visiting national parks.
I am committed to working alongside staff and families to build a structure of collaborative relationships in the school and community, so that ALL students have a variety of opportunities to succeed! I look forward to working with all of you.
