Meet your FACE Worker

Hello, my name is Anna Vilchis. I'm excited to introduce myself as your Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Worker. I was born and raised in Santa Ana, CA I attended Greenville Elementary and MacArthur Intermediate Schools. In 2005 I graduated from Saddleback High School. After Saddleback, I attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies in 2009. I decided to move back to Orange County because I've always wanted to live in Santa Ana and work with the wonderful communities that we have here.  My parents are both from Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, which is one of my favorite cities in theworld. I love traveling. Some of the most beautiful places I’ve been to are Cuba, France and Portugal. Mexico will forever be my favorite because it feels like home, not to mention the amazing food! I hope to travel more in the future so let me know if you have any suggestions!I’m very excited to meet you all and to learn how to best encourage each student's success at Diamond Elementary.
