• Welcome to Mrs. Chavez’s Class!
     

     

    My name is Connie Chavez and I have taught here at Edison for over 26 years. I am currently teaching second grade.
     

     

    I love the beach, camping, soccer, reading books, and especially spending time with my family. My husband is also a teacher here in Santa Ana and we have 3 daughters.
     
    This year we will focus on developing a love of reading. I have over 1.000 books in our class library! I have all different levels of books in the class library and students as well as parents can borrow books at any time.

     

    Learning should be fun and it is my goal to create a learning environment that promotes creativity, curiosity and respect for others.
