Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! As we proudly celebrated 60 years of educational excellence at McFadden Institute of Technology, we did so with gratitude for our community and excitement for what lies ahead. This year, our commitment to innovation, equity, and excellence is stronger than ever as we continue to prepare all of our students to become the leaders and learners of tomorrow.

As a Future-Ready school, we embrace technology, hands-on learning, and global awareness as essential tools to guide our students into a rapidly evolving world. With the SAUSD Graduate Profile as our foundation, we are focused on ensuring that each MIT SCOT becomes a critical thinker, problem solver, effective communicator, socially aware citizen, and a lifelong learner. Our programs are built to inspire curiosity and deepen learning—whether through STEM labs, dual language instruction, AVID strategies, or creative pathways like robotics, graphic design, and music.

At MIT, our dedicated team of educators—our Lead Designers—continue to push the boundaries of traditional learning by reimagining classrooms, incorporating cutting-edge instructional practices, and supporting the whole child. Our motto, "Eduvating 21st Century Learning Through Global Pathways," reminds us that our work is not just about today’s success, but about building bridges to a brighter future for every child.

As we honor six decades of service to this community, we also look ahead with hope and purpose.
