Welcome to Lincoln Elementary!
We are looking forward to another excellent year with the support of our outstanding staff, involved parents and high achieving students! Lincoln Elementary provides an encouraging and exciting atmosphere designed to further student growth academically, emotionally, physically and socially to promote respectful, well-informed citizens. With approximately 1,085 pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students, our scholars are on the track for success being active participants, effective communicators, knowledgeable citizens, compassionate, open-minded and lifelong learners.
Lincoln Elementary is part of a school district that includes National Blue Ribbon Schools, five California Distinguished Schools, and for the third year in a row, the distinction of having the greatest number of “Improved schools” in Orange County. We continue to pride ourselves in our Lincoln Lions and will continue to play a role in shaping and preparing our students to become responsible, well-rounded 21stcentury global citizens.

History of the Name
Abraham Lincoln Elementary was named after the 16th President of the United States who led our nation during the trying Civil War and ended slavery with the Emancipation Proclamation. Our school strives to embody one of Lincoln's beliefs of doing the right thing all of the time: "Let us have faith that right makes might; and in that faith let us to the end, dare to do our duty as we understand it"
