What we have worked on
7th grade- Human Activity, Natural processes, Matter and energy cycles, and living vs nonliving organisms.
7th grade- Classroom observation, teaching the class how todo a hands on activity, history of education, STEM, career exploration, Field trips to Cal State Fullerton, Chapman University, Century High school, UCI, and other Industry Sectors. Guest speakers from Schools First Credit Union(how to save money,write a check, credit score and make fincial goals), Santa Ana College, Faculty, and other Industry Sectors.
8th grade- Spending the day with an Educator, Creating webages about CTE, Career Exploration, Teaching to Elementary Students, Teaching to the class in small groups, STEM with robotics, Developing soft skills Guest speakers from industry sectors, Field Trips to Orange Coast College, Santa Ana College, and STEM field trip.
CTE is a two year class starting in 7th grade.
