I was born and raised in Orange, CA. I graduated from Orange High School. After graduating, I attended Santiago Canyon Community College for 2 years, this is the sister school of Santa Ana College. I then transferred to Cal State Fullerton. Here I earned my B.A. in English and my Single-Subject Credential in English in 2009. Upon completion of my credential, I was a substitute for the Fullerton Union High School District. In the summer of 2010, I was hired full-time at Cesar E. Chavez High School. I taught English 9/10 for 3 years before transferring to Godinez FHS. In 2013, I began my M.A. in English at Cal State Fullerton. In the spring of 2016, I graduated and began teaching as an Adjunct Professor at Santa Ana College. I currently teach English 101, one night a week.
