    WELCOME TO SANTIAGO COMPUTER SCIENCE/CODING CLUB 2017-2018

    OVERVIEW

    The CS Coding Club is designed to provide students with additional opportunities to use technology at Santiago School. Membership in the CS Coding Club is currently open to 4th and 5th graders only. The club promotes the learning of programming skills and the basics of computer science. Students will work with a variety of software applications, participate in computer activities like computer programming and coding, and familiarize themselves with computer technology and with computer fundamentals. The student will also have opportunities to work with other club members on fun projects.

    OBJECTIVE

    The club objective is for students to get together in a fun atmosphere to discuss and become familiar with the use of computers and a variety of their applications. The intention being the students will learn through both hands-on and peer-to-peer interactions.

    4th graders meet on Wednesdays (2nd & 4th week of the month),
    after school in the computer lab (1:35 PM - 2:35 PM)

    5th graders meet on Wednesdays (1st & 3rd week of the month),
    after school in the computer lab (1:35 PM - 2:35 PM)
     
    Every Wednesdays - All 4th & 5th grades club member are welcome to use the computer lab before school from 7:30 AM - 8:10 AM
