Mesopotamia, Egypt, Hebrews, China, India, Greece, and Rome are all important for understanding the world we live in today.7th Grade Social Studies is the second year of the world history course for intermediate grades. We learn about the places, people, and events of the medieval times (middle ages) to the beginning of the modern world (500 CE - 1500 CE). Basically from the end of the Roman Empire through the beginnings of Christianity, to civilizations in Asia and Africa, and the Americas. This will provide a context for understanding the world we live in today.We will learn to think and act like geographers and historians.
