    Quick Facts

    Where am I from?

    I was born in Los Angeles, California, and since 1965 I have lived in Orange County. 

    Where did I go to school?

    I graduadted from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove.  After that, I earned my A.A. degree at Golden West College, my B.A. in Philosophy at U.C. Santa Barbara, and my teaching credential in English at U.C. Irvine.  I also studied Spanish and taught English at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico, where I lived for a year and where I return every summer. 

    What do I teach?

    I teach Language Arts, including  ELD and a course called Film, Literature, and Composition.  I have also been involved with the Global Business Academy, the New Media Academy, and the Welcome Academy.

    What else am I involved in?

    I am involved with High School, Inc., the Global Business Academy, the New Media Academy, and the Welcome Academy. 

    What are my interests outside of school?

    Outside of school I spend my time riding my bike, training in martial arts, and reading.  I also like to travel, mostly in Mexico, and watch films.
