History of Name
Our school is named after Adeline C Walker who was born in July 10, 1904 and once was described as the "real heart and soul of Santa Ana." She graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1921 and was responsible for the restored Victorian Howe - Waffle house in Santa Ana. She is also credited with having the county court house declared a historic monument. Ms Walker is also remembered for her years of dedicated service working in district schools teaching children how to plant and care for gardens. In this picture, Adeline Walker is receiving an award at the Howe-Waffle House.Photo courtesy Orange County Archives.Date Built and/or Occupied
