Mr. Andrew Ashford

Born and raised in Orange, California, Mr. Ashford attended El Modena High School, then proceeded to U.C. Berkeley, where he earned a B.A. in English literature. In the early 2000's he spent a year in rural France teaching English as a second language and backpacking around Europe. He worked for several years as an SAT instructor of Kaplan, Inc., before completing his credential and masters in teaching at Chapman University. Mr. Ashford came to REACH Academy in 2021. 

When he is not teaching, Mr. Ashford spends his time with his wife and son at their home in Buena Park, where they can hear the whistle of the steam train at Knott's from their backyard. Mr. Ashford enjoys reading, gardening, woodworking, going to museums and aquariums, baking sourdough bread, roasting coffee, trivia, dinosaurs, and dad jokes.
