Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s): For the 2021 spring administration of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) for English language arts/literacy (ELA), mathematics, science, Spanish reading language arts, and the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), students will be able to take their assigned tests remotely unless their Individualized Education Program (IEP) indicates an alternate assessment. These students will be taking the assessments in-person following state, county, and local health and safety requirements. Our priority is to keep our students and educators safe by following state, county, and local health and safety requirements associated with the current pandemic. Below is a table outlining the 2020-2021 CAASPP and ELPAC assessments.
