     Students at Greenville have the opportunity to participate in Instrumental Music, Choir and play the Recorder.  The music programs at Greenville is detailed below:  
    * All third grade students receive instruction on the recorder once a week.
    * All second grade students receive general music once a week
    * 4th grade students are offered the opportunity to learn the violin, trumpet, clarinet and flute. (Note: To be eligible to participate in the instrumental program at Greenville, a student needs to be recommeneded by both Mr Sorrells and the third grade classroom teacher).
    * 5th grade students that complete their first year on an instrument have the chance to move up to an advanced ensemble.
    * 4th and 5th grade students also have the opportunity to enroll in the Greenville choir.  Space in this ensemble has a limited capacity of about 65 students and leans towards containing more 5th grade students.  All students are welcome
     
    Performance schedule 2019 -2020 school year
    March 7 - Saturday (Boca de oro) 2nd and Broadway performing alongside the Santa Ana High School Chamber strings. 4 PM
     
    March - 12 - Thursday - Choir performances at Greenville - AM performnaces - 6:30 pm evening perfromance for parents and friends
     
    April 1 - Wednesday - Greenville instrumental music program - AM performnaces - 6:30 pm evening perfromance for parents and friends
     
    May 6 - Greenville honor instrumental music performance @Valley high school with MaCarthur intermediate. 6:30 strings, 7:30 band
     
    Mid may - choir field trip to Segerstrom (TBA)
     
    May 28 - promotion ceremony - Greenville choir
